To help support students who may be struggling with the increased cost of food, energy and general living bills, the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ has developed a digital Cost of Living Hub to help them easily find all the support they require at the tap of a button.

Students from Luton’s Barnfield College were invited to take part in a series of radio and TV ‘takeovers’ at the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ, allowing them to produce programmes for their coursework assessments while gaining valuable industry-level experience.

The ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ was excited to welcome renowned naturalist and broadcaster, Chris Packham CBE, who delivered an engaging, free public talk on the subject of sustainability, climate action and the environment, with the whole event featuring a green, no-waste policy in line with the institution’s Target Zero ambitions.

With the arrival of National Apprenticeship Week for 2023, the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ is celebrating its array of exciting skills-based apprenticeship programmes, shining a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships can make to employees, businesses and the wider economy.

Celebrations are underway at the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ after it was announced that the institution was awarded second place in the UK in the People & Planet 2022/23 University Green League, putting it in the top spot for England overall.
