Academic Welcome Details
Hello my name is Vicki Barlow and I am your course lead. We are excited that you are joining us in September. Your core forensic team all come from an industry background, bringing a wealth of casework knowledge and experience, and your criminology team are all experts in their fields. Our course is designed to teach you the required theory and then spend time in our specialist laboratories wherever possible to help you develop those key skills required of any forensic scientist. The first week of the semester will be your induction week where you will be introduced to your course, course team and fellow students. You will also attend a number of sessions designed to show you how to access and use the key University systems so that you have everything you need for the first week of teaching. I look forward to meeting you.
