Film analysis and filmmaking
Luke Hockley is a psychotherapist and Professor of Media Analysis. He is founder executive member of the International Association for Jungian Studies and has conducted research into the relationship between Post-Jungian psychology and screen-based media including film, television and the internet.
Professor Karen Randell’s research is on the representation of disfigurement in the media and in particular the returned veteran unrepresented in popular culture.
Dr Agnieszka Piotrowska is author of Psychoanalysisand Ethics in Documentary.
Her documentary, The (un) Finished Portrait of Lech Walesa, charts the story of the heroes of Polish Solidarity funded with a grant from the European Solidarity Foundation and was shown on Polish television in December 2014.
