Immigration updates
For the latest immigration updates, please see:
If the need to repeat a module or sit a referral will not result in you having a gap in your studies of 60 days of term time or more, then you may remain in the UK to complete your studies.
However, if the need to repeat has caused your course length to be extended, you may be required to apply for a new visa to extend your leave to remain in the UK under the student route.
If you think you may require a visa extension, you should contact an International Student Advisor by emailing visaadvice@beds.ac.uk as soon as you find out about your re-sit or retake unit so that you can discuss your visa options well in advance.
They will review your academic and visa situation and advise you concerning any immigration rules that may affect you.
If you have travelled to the UK on a visa issued on the basis of a CAS provided by the 亚色视频, you may be allowed to defer your studies, but only in exceptional circumstances.
We will notify UKVI and withdraw our sponsorship of you. You must return to your home country and provide proof to us that you have done so. The UKVI will expect you to return home, and they will know whether you have done so by means of your passport record.
To return to the UK, you will be required to obtain a new visa, based on a new CAS, at a later date. It cannot be guaranteed that you will be successful in your second visa application. Therefore, we do not recommend you undertaking this process if it can be avoided.
If you have any reason to believe you will not be able to start your studies when you reach the UK, you should not travel and contact us by email at visaadvice@beds.ac.uk to seek our advice.
