The ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ has a specific fee structure for international students depending on the level of study being undertaken.

*If a pre-sessional course is required, the fee is payable in full for the pre-sessional plus 65% of published tuition fees. E.g. £1,000 (100% of pre-sessional fee) + £11,050 (65% of MBA fee) = £12,050

Scholarships and Bursaries
The ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ offers a wide range of generous Scholarships for international students. Please check below to see if you are eligible.
Undergraduate
You can find all our Undergraduate scholarships listed below.
Our International Undergraduate subject-specific scholarships are worth up to £6000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible – scholarships for Home fee paying students can be found here.
- Be in receipt of an offer to study in first year (level 4) of an eligible undergraduate course at the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ commencing in the 2025/26 academic year. Eligible courses include:
- All Bachelor’s degree courses within the School of Sport Science and Physical Activity
- All Bachelor’s degree courses within the School of Arts and Creative Industries
- All Bachelor’s degree courses within the School of Psychology
- All Bachelor’s degree English courses within the School of Education
- Childhood and Youth Studies BA
- Criminology and Sociology BSc
- Criminology BSc
- Human Resources Management BSc
- Human Resources Management with Law BSc
- Marketing BSc
- Social Policy and Social Research BSc
- Applicants applying to enter level 3 (International Foundation Year), level 5 or 6 are not eligible. However, students progressing from the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ International Foundation Year in the 2025/26 academic year will be eligible.
- Scholarship assessment will be via an online interview on Microsoft Teams.
- Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.
Our A level and IB scholarship is worth £3000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible
- Achieve an IB Diploma score of 33 points or more, or A level grades of ABB or higher
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year). Applicants applying for level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of their A level or IB results
- Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible, but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship.
- Only international A levels administered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Oxford AQA, Edexcel (Pearson), and Learning Resource Network (LRN) are eligible for this award, including the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level. All A levels taken in the UK are eligible. No other equivalents are accepted. If you have any questions as to whether your qualifications are eligible for the award, please contact our International team via international@beds.ac.uk
- Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the £500 prompt payment discount on tuition fees
Our AP Merit Scholarship is worth £3000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible
- Achieve an AP score of 3, 3, 3 points or more
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year). Applicants applying for level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of their AP results
- Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible, but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship.
- Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees
Our HKDSE Merit Scholarship is worth £3000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible
- Achieve a HKDSE score equivalent to 128 UCAS points or more (excluding Chinese Language)
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year). Applicants applying for level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of their HKDSE results
- Achieve a HKDSE score equivalent to 128 UCAS points or more (excluding Chinese Language)
- Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible, but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship.
- Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees
Our Undergraduate EU Qualifications Scholarship is worth £4500 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible.
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 3 (foundation) or level 4 (first year). Applicants looking to enter at level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of an eligible EU qualification
- Applying based solely on an eligible EU qualification. See our full list of accepted qualifications. Admissions based on a mix of non-EU and EU qualifications are not eligible.
- Students who are successful in being awarded the bursary will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.
Our International Foundation Year Scholarship is worth £1000 off international tuition fees for the first year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible.
- Applying for a Foundation year (Level 3)
- Students who are successful in being awarded the bursary will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.
Our High Achievers Undergraduate Scholarship for Bangladesh is worth £3000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible.
- Achieve 4.8/5 or more in the Bangladeshi Year 12 exams
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year). Applicants looking to enter at level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of an eligible qualification
- Students who are successful in being awarded the bursary will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.
Our High Achievers Undergraduate Scholarship for India is worth £3000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible.
- Achieve 75% or more in the Indian Year 12 exams
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year). Applicants looking to enter at level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of an eligible qualification
- Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible, but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship
- Students who are successful in being awarded the bursary will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.
Our High Achievers Undergraduate Scholarship for Nepal is worth £3000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible.
- Achieve 75% or more in the Nepalese Year 12 exams
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year). Applicants looking to enter at level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of an eligible qualification
- Students who are successful in being awarded the bursary will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.
Our High Achievers Undergraduate Scholarship for Pakistan is worth £3000 off international tuition fees for each year of study. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible.
- Achieve 900/1100 or more in the Pakistani Year 12 exams
- Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year). Applicants looking to enter at level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of an eligible qualification
- Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible, but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship
- Students who are successful in being awarded the bursary will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.
Postgraduate

Our Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship is worth £3000 off the total international tuition fees for the course. To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:
- Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible
- Applying for a postgraduate course
- Achieve a minimum 75% GPA or equivalent. Where undergraduate awards are not expressed as a percentage, the equivalency will be calculated by the University.
- Students progressing from an Undergraduate course at the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ are also eligible (but if successful in receiving this award, will then not be eligible for the Alumni discount or VC’s Scholarship).
- Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries (including the Alumni discount), but will be eligible for the prompt payment discounts on tuition fees.
On all Master’s postgraduate degree courses, including MBA, international students not receiving any of our other scholarships will receive the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship, which is a reduction of £1,000 off their first year’s fees. Students progressing from one of our undergraduate degrees to Master’s programmes will also be eligible for this award (see Alumni Discount below).
- Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the £500 prompt payment discount on tuition fees
Chevening is the UK Government’s global scholarship programme, offering future leaders from around the world a unique opportunity to study a postgraduate qualification in the UK. The ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ also work in partnership with Chevening to offer three additional awards, offering further opportunities to those student who choose the University on their application. International students progressing from a ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ undergraduate programme to a Master’s or MBA programme at the University will receive, in the first year only, both a £1,000 Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship and a £500 alumni discount (unless in receipt of another award, such as the PG Global Merit Scholarship). An additional discount of £500 is available for prompt payment of the first year fees in full, before or at registration.
Universal Discounts

A discount of £500 is available for prompt payment of each year’s fees in full, before or at the point of registration, for both undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes.
Postgraduate research students who pay their full tuition fee before or at registration, will receive a £1,000 discount on that year’s fees.
The tuition fee pre-payment of 65% will be calculated on the full, published tuition fees and will not take into account any scholarships, bursaries or awards. These will be applied to the remaining balance of your fees.
Sport Scholarships
Our sports scholarships are designed to develop and support talented students at the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ.
Our sport scholarships on offer provide financial and performance support services that utilise the University’s outstanding facilities.
