It is a free UCAS service that allows students without offers to apply for different courses, one choice at a time – this being the important difference between your initial application and Extra. If the ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ isn’t one of your choices currently and you choose us in Extra, think of us as your sixth choice.

Find out if you are eligible for UCAS Extra by signing into your on UCAS. If you are eligible, you will see an ‘Add an extra choice’ option on your dashboard – just click on it to apply for another course. You respond to it just the same as in the main UCAS cycle by accepting or declining by the deadline given. Once you have accepted an offer, you can’t continue using Extra.
