The School of Society, Community and Health is a newly established school that houses a range of Professional Courses. Students who successfully complete their studies with us gain an academic qualification that qualifies them for registration with the regulatory body for their chosen profession. Our primary focus is on the education and training of Social Work and Allied Healthcare Practitioners and those studying courses directly affecting the society around us.

Institute for Health Research (IHR)
IHR is committed to carrying out real world research, providing information which has influenced policy and practice at national and international level. The IHR brings together four research centres of excellence: Organ Donation and Transplant Research Centre, Maternal and Child Health Research Centre, Research Centre for Health Service Organisation and Delivery and the Teenage Pregnancy Knowledge Exchange.
