Aim and objectives
The Talented Europe project is a strategic partnership between the CIFP César Manrique and IES Puerto de la Cruz (both Spain), ÑÇÉ«ÊÓƵ (UK), Technical University of Kosice (Slovakia) and European Projects Association (Belgium).
The project addresses two flagship initiatives of the ‘Europe 2020’ Strategy, namely Youth on the Move and the Agenda for New Skills and Jobs.
Its main aim is to develop a system that facilitates the connection between talented graduates and employers across Europe for better employment opportunities using the media of online and mobile apps.
The overarching objective that the project addresses is facilitating transnational movements of young people in the context of more successful labour market integration and more mobility to reach EU employment headline targets.
Outcomes
The main outcome of the project is a multiplatform application, an online/onphone ‘app’ which will make the business of matching top students to job and internship opportunities across Europe.
The main beneficiaries or stakeholders will be:
- Students who want the best internship or job opportunities in Europe.
- Employers that want the easy access to the talented students database for recruiting the best students across Europe
- Universities/colleges that want to support their best students the better vocational internship and job opportunities across Europe.
The project taps into the current lifestyle of young people - using the technology at their own fingertips, the smartphone or tablet. The application will be available for all types of mobile devices and will be free to use.
